BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

The county commissioners hold title to all county property, serve as the sole taxing authority for the county and control county purchasing. Perhaps more important, they are the budget and appropriating authority for the entire county government. All agencies, courts and elected officeholders depend on the commissioners for their budgets.

The Board of Butler County Commissioners is committed to delivering honest leadership, quality service and sound management to enhance the aspirations, opportunities and quality of life for all the people of Butler County.
